I don't usually admit to disliking (or occasionally liking) Dana Schutz's work, but I found this article to be a good entrance point for reconsidering her work.

Now I know what I'll do with this iMac. I'll paint myself looking at blogger.com, looking at Dana Schutz look at herself looking at Google Images, with me drawing up a flow chart showing how things I actually do relate to things artists actually do.
i'm so glad you never got a degree in art - it would've ruined you.
